I am Fernando Kylas, a digital impact consultant based in Mauritius. I have spent more than 25 years across design, websites, search and digital strategy.
I do not need to replace your suppliers to justify my role.
If they are doing good work, I would rather make those relationships more effective. If something is unnecessary, better handled as a standalone project, or better served by another specialist, I will say so.
Digital problems rarely stay inside one discipline
A search issue may begin with the website. A website problem may actually be ownership or supplier coordination. An AI initiative may fail because the business case or workflow was never clear enough.
My value is in seeing those connections, deciding what deserves attention, and helping the right people act on it.
I can work with management on priorities and investment, then speak directly with developers, agencies or internal teams about what implementation requires. That reduces the gap between recommendation and delivery.
